He has served as a Paramedic as well as a Detective in the NYC area . He is qualified as a rescue specialist as well as a medical specialist for FEMA. Shawn is a certified NAEMT (National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians) instructor, CPR and First Aid instructor. Thomas Kane is a registered nurse, trauma nurse, psych nurse and was a school nurse for 7 years. Thom is also a certified TECC (Tactical Emergency Casualty Care) and Officer Down Instructor.
