TLP 226 The One With All The Tactical Companies

Welcome back Lead Head Brigade to the Talking Lead Podcast episode "TLP 226 The One With All The Tactical Companies".  Ha!Ha!  All of our guests' companies have "tactical" in their name this episode.

Before you listen to this episode we'd like you to go visit Sheep Dog Impact Assistance at www.sheepdogia.org and donate to the SDIA Holiday Outreach Program. They are working hard  organizing donated Christmas gifts for more than 200 children of Military, Law Enforcement, and Fire & Rescue families in need.

Lefty continues his Big 3 East Media Group interviews with three new guest companies.  Kevin Phillips, VP, of SGM Tactical and Jeff Caplan with Tactical Kinetics.  SGM is well known for their Vepr & Saiga shotgun mags.  Tactical Kinetics also know as "The Barrel Guys" was formed to combine precision CNC manufacturing and superior inspection techniques with complete supply chain and flexible component assembly management to roll out high quality weapon system components to the OEM, Defense, and Export sales markets.

Kevin and Jeff join Lefty to talk about a collaboration between SGM & Tactical Kinetics on a new aftermarket barrel for Glock pistols. Jeff also talks about a new high temperature resistant carbon fiber barrel Tactical Kinetics has in the works.  Kevin shares a story about a near "fatal" run-in he had with Quentin "Q" Carter...not nearly fatal but it's funny!

Next we have Brett Hunter owner of Tactical Rx.  Brett makes prescription eye protection specifically for the firearms industry.  Stylish, comfortable and affordable.  Made of high-index polycarbonate (and definitely NOT Trivex), they are strong, lightweight and safe, exceeding ANSI z87 standards for prescription eyewear. Tactical Rx are the experts in prescription shooting eyewear.  Check out their new line of eye-pro!
